Welcome Auslan on the Island

Auslan is an uniquely Australian language. Instead of the spoken word, it that uses hand, arm, and body movements, to convey meaning.

Despite the fact that around 200,000 people use Auslan to communicate every day, the language, sadly, remains a mystery to many in the hearing world.

My mission is to help take the mystery out of Auslan.

I do this through a series of short courses where I teach everyday Auslan to

  • employers,
  • managers and colleagues,
  • teachers,
  • health professionals,
  • friends and family.

In short, I teach everyday Auslan to anyone with the need, or desire, to communicate and connect with deaf or hard-of-hearing people.
